Sphere Digital Recruitment Announces Four Senior Promotions Following Record Growth

Sphere Digital Recruitment Group has announced four senior promotions across its executive leadership team, reflecting the company’s record-breaking commercial performance and continued investment in its people.

Holly Simpson has been promoted to Managing Director, Permanent Recruitment. Holly joined Sphere as a graduate and has spent the past 13 years helping to build the business. Over the last 18 months, she has led Sphere’s permanent recruitment division—a £5 million function supporting technology platforms, agencies and brands with GTM, marketing and technology hiring across the UK and Europe.

The division is currently 30% ahead year-on-year and continues to expand its services across the UK and EU, supported by Sphere’s delivery team in South Africa.

Hannah Brown has been promoted to Managing Director, Contract Recruitment. Hannah built Sphere’s contract division from the ground up, establishing the processes, team and client relationships that have made it one of the company’s fastest-growing and most profitable divisions.

The team continues to achieve record results while developing transformational partnerships with some of the world’s leading agencies and brands. As demand for flexible talent continues to rise, Hannah will lead the global development of Sphere’s contract offering.

Daniel Bolter has been appointed Co-Founder and SVP, North America. Dan relocated to New York five years ago to launch Sphere’s US operation, which recorded 114% year-on-year growth during the first half of 2026.

His appointment as Co-Founder recognises both his contribution to establishing the US business and his continued leadership of one of Sphere’s most significant international growth opportunities. With teams operating across North America, Europe and South Africa, Sphere can combine global reach with locally connected recruitment expertise.

Charlotte Shepherd has been appointed Operations Director. Charlotte originally joined Sphere as its first administrative assistant before progressing through credit control, completing her AAT qualifications and becoming Financial Controller.

Alongside her financial expertise, Charlotte has developed an unrivalled understanding of Sphere’s systems, processes and ways of working. As Operations Director, she will take on wider responsibility for the operational running of the business while continuing to oversee the day-to-day leadership of the finance team.
