Growth Director / Commercial Director
Performance Marketing Agency | London / Hybrid
This role is focused on owning and leading the sales and new business strategy
You'll take end-to-end ownership of new business and commercial growth, working closely with senior leadership to shape how the agency wins and delivers high-value client relationships. While marketing understanding is important, this role is sales-led and heavily focused on strategy, deal-making, and senior stakeholder engagement.
The agency works across SEO, Digital, Social and PR, with an established client base that includes globally recognised brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and own the agency's sales and marketing strategy
- Build, manage and grow a strong new business pipeline
- Win and close high-value agency deals
- Manage and develop inbound and outbound opportunities
- Act as a senior commercial presence in pitches and client meetings
- Get in front of CMO-level stakeholders and lead complex sales conversations
Ideal candidate:
- Background in an independent marketing agency
- Proven experience leading new business sales and growth strategy
- Strong track record of closing high-value, multi-service agency deals
- Comfortable selling full-funnel performance marketing (SEO, Digital, Social, PR)
- Experience engaging senior client stakeholders, including CMOs
- Exposure to social and performance marketing is a strong bonus
- Collaborative, energetic and confident leadership style
Base salary up to £100,000
5% commission on total contract value of all deals sold
Expected OTE: £140,000 - £150,000
