Head of Sales

Location: London (Hybrid - 3 Days Per Week)
Salary: £100,000 - £120,000 Base + 50% OTE (Uncapped)

Our client is a high-growth Customer Engagement and Commerce Media business operating at the intersection of loyalty, data intelligence and personalised retail activation.

With over two decades of sustained success, the business has built a market-leading platform trusted by some of the world's largest banks, card networks and consumer brands. Operating across 15+ international markets, the company has recently secured significant investment to fuel the next phase of its commercial expansion - and is now looking for a Head of Sales to lead that growth in the UK.

The Job

As Head of Sales, you will be responsible for leading, developing and scaling the new business function, driving revenue growth across the company's Activation and Intelligence solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing the sales strategy in line with ambitious growth objectives
  • Leading, coaching and developing a team of Business Development Managers and SDRs
  • Owning and delivering new business revenue targets
  • Building, managing and forecasting a healthy pipeline of opportunities
  • Personally supporting and closing strategic new business opportunities
  • Identifying new markets, sectors and routes to revenue growth
  • Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Customer Success and Leadership teams
  • Implementing scalable sales processes, frameworks and performance metrics
  • Building relationships with key prospects, partners and industry stakeholders
  • Leveraging data and AI to improve sales effectiveness and commercial outcomes

About You

We're looking for an experienced sales leader with a strong track record of building high-performing teams and delivering consistent new business revenue growth within a technology environment.

You will ideally have:

  • Significant experience in a senior sales leadership role within Martech, Madtech, SaaS, Data & Insights, Performance Marketing or Media
  • Proven success delivering and exceeding ambitious revenue targets
  • Experience leading, developing and scaling Business Development and SDR teams
  • A hands-on, player-coach approach - comfortable leading from the front and closing deals yourself
  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen
  • Track record of winning complex new business opportunities
  • Experience building sales processes, frameworks and performance cultures
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leadership
  • Strong forecasting, pipeline management and revenue planning capabilities
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • A data-driven approach to sales leadership and decision-making
