The Role
As Media Operations Associate Director, you'll lead the operational and technical backbone of media delivery for a global luxury client. You'll drive transformation through AdTech innovation, process optimisation, AI enablement, and team leadership. This is a pivotal role requiring deep platform expertise, sharp technical problem-solving, and an ability to translate complexity into scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Ad Tech & Platform Management

  • Oversee accurate setup and management of activation platforms, ensuring alignment with global standards and governance.

  • Partner with internal media and digital leads to drive effective tracking, audits, and updates.

  • Evaluate client ad tech stacks and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and performance.

  • Lead implementation and adoption of new ad tech tools - including measurement platforms, DCO, DSPs, and data partnerships.

  • Design structured onboarding and best-practice frameworks to accelerate adoption across teams.

Creative & Campaign Operations

  • Manage creative trafficking workstreams, ensuring seamless delivery and alignment with brand standards.

  • Oversee campaign setup processes to ensure operational excellence and consistency across markets.

  • Continuously refine internal workflows, eliminating inefficiencies and enabling scalability.

  • Develop and share operational best practices across teams.

Tech Partner & AI Enablement

  • Maintain strong relationships with key media and technology partners.

  • Drive adoption of AI-powered tools that enhance planning, reporting, and optimisation.

  • Lead training, evaluate tool performance, and monitor ROI to ensure continued value.

You

  • 6+ years' experience in digital media, ad operations, or AdTech, ideally within an agency or network environment.

  • Strong technical understanding of ad serving technologies, DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, and analytics tools.

  • Confident managing cross-channel digital campaigns (display, programmatic, social, video).

  • Experience with premium or luxury brands a strong advantage.

  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive with a passion for operational excellence.

  • Strong communicator with proven leadership and project management skills.
