Overview
Account Executives are responsible for the optimisation and management of paid media campaigns to a high standard, helping drive strong results for clients.
They are also responsible for reporting on performance and communicating insights clearly to clients.
On smaller accounts, they may take more ownership in ensuring client success and identifying opportunities for account growth.
This role requires a good understanding of digital marketing, strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to collaborate well with clients and internal teams.
Primary Outcomes
Effective Campaign Management: Campaigns are built and managed in line with best practice.
Effective Optimisation: Campaigns are monitored and optimised regularly to maximise performance against client goals and budgets.
Client Satisfaction: Clients receive proactive, professional communication, with clear performance updates and useful recommendations.
Team Contribution: Contribute ideas, share learnings with the wider team and complete tasks on time and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management and Optimisation
Understand the core principles and metrics of relevant paid media platforms and channels.
Build and launch high-quality paid media campaigns across relevant platforms.
Monitor campaign performance regularly and complete daily optimisations.
Analyse campaign performance to identify trends, issues and opportunities for improvement.
Manage campaign spend effectively, ensuring there is no significant over or underspend.
Take ownership of smaller accounts, supporting performance, strategy, client satisfaction and growth.
Client Communication
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Communicate clearly, professionally and in line with each client's key focus areas.
Respond to client requests in a timely manner.
Provide insightful performance updates, turning data into clear recommendations and next steps.
Create and update basic automated reporting dashboards for smaller clients.
Innovation
Suggest new creatives, tests, platform features, strategies and tools.
Support the implementation of new tests and share results with the wider team.
Stay up to date with digital media trends and platform updates.
Identify potential opportunities for client growth.
Use automation and smarter ways of working to improve performance and efficiency.
Show interest in clients' businesses, industries, competitors and relevant market trends.
Team Collaboration
Continue developing professionally and act on feedback from managers and team members.
Complete assigned tasks to a high standard and within deadlines.
Communicate progress, challenges and blockers clearly.
Prioritise workload effectively and ask for support when needed.
