Research & Insights Associate Director - Independent Agency - London

Ready to step into a leadership role at one of the most exciting youth-focused agencies in the game?

This fast-growing insights and creative agency is redefining how brands connect with kids, teens, and young adult, putting young voices at the heart of everything they do. From big-name global clients in entertainment, lifestyle, and tech to emerging brands with bold ambitions, they help turn cultural insight into meaningful strategy.

As Associate Director of Research & Insights, you'll join a team that thrives on curiosity, creativity, and connection. You'll lead smart, strategic work powered by first-party data from a global youth community, delivering insight that goes beyond the obvious to spark real change for clients.

With innovation in their DNA and a strong ethical stance on privacy and compliance (think COPPA and GDPR-K), this agency is both future-facing and values-driven. It's fast-paced, collaborative, and packed with opportunities to stretch your thinking and make your mark.

If you're passionate about youth culture, love crafting compelling stories from data, and want to lead work that truly resonates, this could be your next big move.

The role:

  • Lead mixed-methods research projects with a focus on quantitative research, from brief to debrief.
  • Design methodologies tailored for children and youth, translating client needs into effective research strategies.
  • Deliver compelling insights by analysing qual and quant data, telling impactful stories that prioritise the youth perspective.
  • Present findings confidently to clients and support new business pitches, contributing research expertise and insight-driven thinking.
  • Oversee project management, juggling timelines, team leadership, and multiple projects simultaneously.

You:

  • 4-5 years experience in market research, ideally agency-side, and they'd love if you have 1-2 years experience working specifically in the child/youth space.
  • Strong communication and project management skills, with experience leading multiple projects independently and in teams.
  • A knack for storytelling through insight, going beyond the data to deliver clear, strategic recommendations.
  • Confidence presenting to clients and crafting polished, insightful written reports from complex data.
  • Detail-oriented and passionate, with a growth mindset and ability to coach junior team members while delivering top-tier work.
