Senior Programmatic Account Executive (Cape Town - South Africa)
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading digital media agency, for a Senior Programmatic Account Executive to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage and optimise programmatic campaigns across UK accounts, working with some of the most recognised brands in the market.
The Role
As a Senior Programmatic Account Executive, you will take ownership of programmatic campaign management and optimisation across DV360 and The Trade Desk, with Amazon DSP exposure as a bonus. You'll be a trusted day-to-day contact across your accounts, driving strong performance outcomes while contributing to a collaborative and innovative team culture.
What You'll Do
- Build, launch and continuously optimise programmatic campaigns across DV360
- Monitor performance daily, control ad spend, and implement solutions to hit or exceed campaign goals
- Lead day-to-day client communications, translating data into actionable insights and clear recommendations
- Create and maintain automated reporting dashboards
- Test new strategies, betas and tools, staying current with industry trends and platform updates
- Identify commercial growth opportunities within your accounts
- Mentor and support junior team members, sharing learnings with the wider team
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience with DV360 and Trade Desk (Amazon DSP is a plus)
- Strong understanding of programmatic advertising principles and key performance metrics
- Proven ability to manage and optimise campaigns independently, with little senior oversight needed
- Excellent analytical skills and sharp attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a client-first mindset
- A collaborative nature with experience supporting junior colleagues
This role will be hybrid, 2 days per week in the Cape Town CBD office
