The Role

They are looking for an experienced Account Director with a strong background in social commerce, TikTok Shop operations, live shopping, and digital performance marketing.

As a senior client lead, you will act as a strategic advisor to brands, helping them maximise commercial performance across social commerce channels while leading a high-performing account management team. You will be responsible for client growth, operational excellence, team development, and driving measurable business results.

This role combines strategic consultancy, client leadership, commercial management, and hands-on optimisation, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as the strategic lead across a portfolio of social commerce clients
  • Advising brands on TikTok Shop performance, growth opportunities, and best practices
  • Building and maintaining senior stakeholder relationships up to Marketing Director and CMO level
  • Leading client meetings, reviews, and strategic planning sessions
  • Managing onboarding, delivery, optimisation, reporting, and ongoing client success processes
  • Driving sales growth, profitability, and commercial performance across client accounts
  • Using data analysis and performance insights to identify growth opportunities and optimisation strategies
  • Developing and executing TikTok Live and live commerce strategies to achieve client objectives
  • Collaborating closely with creative, studio, operations, and social teams to deliver integrated campaigns
  • Managing account budgets, forecasting, spend reconciliation, and commercial reporting
  • Supporting finance processes relating to invoicing, billing, and creator payments
  • Recruiting, mentoring, and developing account management team members
  • Defining objectives, performance standards, and development plans for direct reports
  • Monitoring platform updates, industry trends, and emerging opportunities within social commerce
  • Contributing to agency innovation, proposition development, and overall business growth

You

  • Minimum 2+ years' experience managing social commerce programmes, with strong expertise in TikTok Shop operations and live commerce
  • Experience working within an agency, platform, or brand-side environment
  • Demonstrated success delivering GMV growth and commercial objectives for clients
  • Strong understanding of TikTok Shop ecosystem, affiliate programmes, creator partnerships, and commerce operations
  • Comfortable presenting strategy and performance recommendations to senior stakeholders and executive-level clients
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into action
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and financial reconciliation
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, including advanced PowerPoint or Google Slides capabilities
  • Proven experience managing, developing, and motivating high-performing teams
  • Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively across multiple disciplines
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the resilience to navigate challenges and drive results
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and process management skills
  • Passionate about digital marketing, social commerce, and emerging consumer trends
