Position Purpose
We are looking for a talented and inquisitive UX Designer to help shape and deliver high-quality user experiences across websites and digital marketing journeys.
You will work within a cross-functional marketing team, contributing to research, design, optimisation and testing activities that support a global digital marketing ecosystem.
This role would suit a designer who is confident working from initial concept through to detailed UX design, with a strong focus on creating seamless, user-centred online experiences that support acquisition, engagement and conversion.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with marketers, developers, content specialists and designers to create and refine concepts, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity UX designs.
- Design and improve user experiences across websites and digital marketing journeys.
- Contribute to user research and insight-gathering activities to ensure design decisions are informed by data and user behaviour.
- Develop clear UX documentation, including information architecture, navigation structures, user flows and interaction patterns.
- Participate in and support usability testing and A/B testing to validate solutions and improve performance.
- Continuously refine user journeys to ensure they remain logical, seamless and aligned with marketing objectives.
- Collaborate closely with developers during implementation to maintain design quality and consistency.
- Ensure designs are responsive, accessible and optimised across devices.
- Stay informed about UX best practice, accessibility standards, design tools and digital marketing trends.
- Proactively contribute new ideas that improve the overall digital customer experience.
Experience and Skills Required
- Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and digital usability.
- Experience designing websites, landing pages or digital marketing journeys.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD.
- Experience producing wireframes, prototypes, user flows and high-fidelity designs.
- Strong understanding of information architecture, navigation and interaction design.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across marketing, content, design and development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with interpreting website analytics, user behaviour data or testing results.
- Understanding of responsive design and web-optimised user experiences.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality design delivery.
- Experience in financial services, technology or another complex or regulated environment would be beneficial, but is not essential.
Working Environment
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be required to work from the office four days per week.
