Founding SME Account Executive
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Double OTE
Location: London (Office-based)
We're partnering with an ambitious AI start-up that's transforming the UK property sector through cutting-edge automation technology. Having already secured early customer traction, they're now looking for their first dedicated SME Account Executive to help build a repeatable sales function from the ground up.
This is a rare opportunity to join at an early stage, work directly alongside the founders and play a pivotal role in shaping the company's commercial success.
The Role
This is far more than a traditional Account Executive position. You'll be responsible for building the SME sales motion, winning new customers and helping define the processes, messaging and playbook that future sales hires will follow.
You'll own the full sales cycle, from outbound prospecting through to demos, negotiation, close and initial customer onboarding. You'll also work closely with Product and Engineering, providing customer feedback that helps shape the platform as it scales.

Key Responsibilities
Generate new business opportunities through strategic outbound prospecting.
Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through to close and onboarding.
Deliver engaging product demonstrations to prospective customers.
Build trusted relationships with SME business owners and decision-makers.
Work closely with customers during implementation to ensure successful adoption.
Capture customer feedback and collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve the platform.
Develop sales messaging, objection handling and best practices to help build a scalable sales function.
Consistently achieve and exceed new business targets.
About You
You'll be an entrepreneurial sales professional who enjoys operating in high-growth environments and wants the opportunity to help build something from the ground up.
You'll likely have:
Experience as an Account Executive or Business Development Manager within SaaS.
A proven track record of winning new business in an outbound environment.
Confidence managing the full sales cycle independently.
Strong presentation and live demo skills.
A consultative approach with the ability to build credibility with SME business owners.
A proactive, resilient mindset and genuine desire to work in an early-stage business.
Experience selling into the UK property, PropTech or lettings market would be highly advantageous, although candidates with strong outbound SaaS experience into other SME markets are also encouraged to apply. An interest in AI and emerging technology is a definite plus.
