Business Development Representative

Location: London (4 days per week office-based - Must have a degree 2:1+)

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Uncapped Commission (c. £90,000 OTE) + Equity

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a fast-growing AI technology startup that is transforming a traditional UK industry through innovative automation and workflow solutions.

This is an ideal role for an ambitious sales professional who enjoys outbound prospecting and wants to join an early-stage business where they can make a genuine impact. Working closely with the founders, you will play a key role in building pipeline, refining sales processes, and contributing to the company's growth journey, with a clear progression path into an Account Executive position.

The Role

* Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, and other outbound activities

* Identify and engage prospective customers across the UK market

* Book qualified meetings and demos for the wider sales team

* Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through consistent prospecting activity

* Work closely with senior leadership to develop and improve outreach strategies

* Gather market feedback and customer insights to help shape messaging, positioning, and sales processes

* Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline updates

What We're Looking For

* 1+ year of experience in a BDR, SDR, Sales Development, or other outbound sales-focused role

* Comfortable with high-volume outbound activity, particularly cold calling

* Strong communication and relationship-building skills

* Resilient, self-motivated, and target-driven

* Commercially minded with a genuine interest in technology and innovation

* Excited by the opportunity to work within a fast-paced startup environment
