Overview

The Programmatic Account Executive is responsible for supporting the setup, activation, optimisation and reporting of digital media campaigns across programmatic and related paid media platforms.

This role is suited to someone with a strong foundation in digital media who wants to develop deeper technical skills across Programmatic, DV360, Google Ads, Demand Gen, YouTube and wider DSP platforms.

The role requires good attention to detail, an analytical mindset, strong organisation and a willingness to learn. The main focus is hands-on campaign delivery, with client-facing skills developing over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, activate and manage digital campaigns across relevant platforms
  • Support campaign setup across Programmatic, DV360, Google Ads, Demand Gen, YouTube or other DSP platforms
  • Monitor campaign performance and make basic optimisations to improve results
  • Track budgets, pacing and spend to avoid over or underspend
  • Pull campaign reports and help turn performance data into useful insights
  • Support with campaign QA, including creative checks, tracking, naming conventions, targeting and launch settings
  • Identify campaign issues and escalate problems where needed
  • Assist with performance updates, reporting and recommendations
  • Work closely with senior team members to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately and on time
  • Stay up to date with platform changes, media trends and new optimisation opportunities
  • Develop technical knowledge across Programmatic, DV360 and wider paid media platforms
  • Build confidence in client communication and performance discussions over time

Qualifications and Experience

  • 6 to 12 months' experience in digital media, paid media, campaign operations or campaign coordination
  • Recent hands-on experience activating, optimising, running or reporting on campaigns
  • Exposure to Google Ads, Demand Gen, YouTube, DV360 or another DSP would be beneficial
  • Strong interest in developing deeper Programmatic and technical campaign management skills
  • Basic understanding of campaign objectives, audiences, budgets, tracking and performance metrics
  • Comfortable working with reports, campaign data and performance trends
  • Strong attention to detail across setup, QA, tracking and campaign delivery
  • Good communication skills and willingness to grow into a more client-facing role
  • Able to manage deadlines, prioritise tasks and work in a fast-paced agency environment
