Sales Development Representative - Benelux
Salary: €45,000 + OTE
Location: Amsterdam (Hybrid)
We're partnering with a fast-growing global SaaS business that's helping leading retail and e-commerce brands create exceptional customer experiences through innovative marketing and customer engagement technology.
As they continue to expand across Europe, they're looking for a Dutch-speaking Sales Development Representative to help drive growth across the Benelux region.
This is far from a traditional SDR role. Rather than relying on high-volume outreach, you'll take a strategic, research-led approach, building meaningful relationships with carefully selected target accounts.
The Role
As the Benelux Sales Development Representative, you'll be responsible for creating new business opportunities with some of the region's most exciting retail and e-commerce brands.
Working closely with Sales, Marketing and Partnerships, you'll research target accounts, understand customer challenges and develop creative outreach strategies that generate high-quality conversations and qualified pipeline.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining commercial thinking with creativity and wants to develop a long-term career in SaaS sales.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and research target retail and e-commerce organisations across the Benelux region.
Build relationships with key decision-makers through personalised, multi-channel outreach.
Create high-quality sales opportunities for the commercial team.
Develop tailored messaging based on customer research and market insights.
Work closely with Sales and Marketing on strategic account planning and campaigns.
Maintain accurate CRM data and consistently manage pipeline activity.
Represent the business at industry events and build relationships across the retail technology ecosystem.
Continuously test, learn and optimise outreach strategies.
About You
You'll be a curious, commercially minded individual who enjoys learning about businesses and building genuine relationships.
You'll likely have:
Experience in a Sales Development, Business Development or other customer-facing commercial role.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A strong interest in technology, retail and e-commerce.
The ability to research companies and turn insights into meaningful conversations.
A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a desire to build a career in SaaS sales.
Fluency in both Dutch and English.
Previous experience in SaaS is beneficial but not essential - attitude, curiosity and coachability are just as important.
