The Role

With a growing roster of new clients coming to the business we have an exciting opportunity for a data-driven marketer keen to deliver best-in-class data analytics & use insights to uncover growth opportunities. The Commerce Analytics Associate Director position is a hire within the UK Commerce team in the agency is focussed on Amazon. The successful applicant will have strong background in Amazon, understanding all aspects of data (across Vendor Central and Amazon Ads platforms) and how to extract meaningful business insights that fuel retail media performance across the Amazon ecosystem.

We're looking for somebody with data & analytics experience within Amazon, with a good knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS), plus a deep understanding of eCommerce, retail optimisation, profitability levers and data insights. Experience in using Python and SQL is a plus. The role involves analysing data to extract insights, developing new data models to address key client business questions, offering innovative solutions, and effectively communicating these to a senior audience. You will possess analytical, data, and presentation skills, and be adept at solving complex business problems in a matrixed organisation.

Key Responsibilities

· Using proprietary tools, analyse Amazon client data and provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve performance against KPI's (for example, across pricing, inventory management, and promotional strategies)

· Present findings to internal and external stakeholders to support in strategic planning, producing pro-active suggestions to in-flight activity to boost performance

· Create logic structures and consolidate multiple datasets, including APIs, to drive automation and data integrity

· Proactively suggest new outcome driven insights modules based on data analysis & maturing client business challenges to ensure the tool is always market relevant

· Collaborate with the wider Technology and Analytics teams and Commerce Practice team to deploy technical solutions into clients, supporting with on boarding and ongoing insights extraction.

Qualifications

· Proven experience across the Amazon ecosystem - activation & reporting - and the data platforms that surround it (Amazon Vendor Central, SQL, Amazon Ads, AWS)

· Experience with cloud infrastructure (esp. AWS)

· Advanced data analysis capabilities, with a solid knowledge of Retail Media, exceptional attention to detail & driven to deliver superior quality

· Approachable, people-oriented with the ability to present data in a simple, impactful way across audiences with varying levels of knowledge

· Desired experience in application development or agile methodology would be very beneficial, but the willingness to learn is key.
