Businesses are seeing their customers spend more money with them, yet, naturally, this remains short of pre-Covid levels. In April we found half (49%) of businesses expected to see 50% of usual spend return by June. Pleasingly June’s data shows us that we are seeing a quicker recovery than predicted with nearly 3/4‘s (74%) of those surveyed have reporting spend at 50% or more vs pre-Covid expectations. This is up from 40% in May.
